The Parish Pastoral Council is one of two parish councils in most Catholic parishes. The Parish Pastoral Council is concerned with the pastoral needs of both parish members and the community. The Parish Council comprises registered and active members of St. Benedict the Moor. It serves in an advisory capacity to the Pastor, who is ultimately responsible for seeing that the Parish's pastoral needs are met. This body serves the parish community by faithfully representing them and their needs to the Pastor. The Finance Council is the other advisory council to the Pastor. The focus on the financial well-being of the Parish is the primary concern. Both groups meet regularly with the Pastor to address the needs and concerns of the Parish.
